How QPP works
QPP provides cocoa farmer organizations and their members with incentives and support for continuous improvement.
Striving for continuous improvement
QPP was set up as a multi-year program with a focus on continuous improvement. The program has 3 levels.
Performance goals and organizational requirements are set for each of the 3 levels. Cooperatives are expected to fulfil the agreed-to goals and requirements.
At each level, Barry Callebaut offers cooperatives incentives and benefits to support their efforts in meeting their targets. The aim is for partners to move up the QPP pyramid from the base, or starting level, to the top level in about 3 years.
